Dreams Do Come True...

Remember ~ Above All Else Today that…

Have You Ever Felt That It Is Always The Other The Guy or Gal That Wins?? That You Were Always Wishing On Someone Else's Star?

Most of my life, it sure looked and seemed that way to me. I felt like I must have been wishing on someone else's star because while they seemed to be moving forward, I seemed to be getting further and further behind.

Until recently, I was just about to the point of giving up. I thought I had finally realized that it was just that, Only A Wish, A Dream. Then I read these words,

"...We work as a single team to insure the success of ALL our members. We pool our talents for the benefit of the team. We all benefit equally by the success of the team. Our Group is in the "start up" stage and we are looking for people with the work habits and skills to help our team."

I thought,,,No way, wishful thinking on my part, to good to be true, it is just another form of a scam or fraud. But that little voice, that one that is buried deep down inside, the voice of all my hopes and dreams, said "Call and see what they have to say, it will cost you nothing to listen. So, I picked up the phone and dialed. A gentleman answered the phone and I asked him about the Blog I had read. You know what, he sounded human! What I mean is he also sounded nervous, but he also sounded so sincere! He did not go into some heavy pitch, that was all smooth as glass. He did not talk 90 miles an hour, with me unable to get a word in edge wise. Come on, if your reading this...Chuckle... Because if you have been in network marketing for very long you know the Slick Joe Blow or Joan Blowette I am talking about. Smooth, fast, never misses a beat, takes a breath, or takes "NO" for an answer. You could set the phone down, go to the restroom, grab a cup of coffee, and come back 20 minutes later and they are still jawing! Their the ones that if you hang up on them, they will immediately call you back and say, "Hey, we accidentally got disconnected, Ha Ha, and start their spiel again, right were they left off, and before I can even say, 'No we didn't get disconnected, I hung up on you!

Well anyway as I was saying, the gentleman who answered my call that day DID NOT have all the answers, but what became crystal clear through the telephone line was this, he honestly was looking and reaching toward the same dreams and goals as you and I have! We did not just talk about 'The Business Concept" we actually talked about what we wanted out of life, what we hoped to accomplish, and both of us had one main thing in common, we weren't looking to get rich, at least realistically we know it will not happen over night, but rather to make a comfortable, honest, respectable living by building a business that would also help others to do the same! During the course of the conversation he admitted that he did not know everything?? Have you ever heard of such a salesman?? Someone trying to sucker you out of your money, that does not have an answer for everything and anything, Not Me! He asked if another person involved in this business venture could call me. Well I said, "Yes," of course, at this point I was confused and intrigued, he seemed honest, sincere, and he wasn't hounding me for my credit card number or drilling his website url into my head! So, a few minutes later the phone rings and what do you know...another human being! This time it is a women, fun, bubbly and outgoing! I think we talked more about cooking and who our favorite authors were than about "The Business." I was the one who finally directed the conversation back to "The Business" discussion. I believe in my 10 years of being in, and looking for, a legitimate network marketing career, I have heard every version of salesmanship, except this, this was a first. She gave it to me short, sweet and to the point. I asked questions and she answered them. At the end of the conversation she blew me away! She said, "I hope, after you have had some time to think it over, you decide to join our adventure, you seem like someone who really wants to help others succeed. Call me or him if you decide that what we are building is right for you." The End, no harrassing phone calls, no multi and quadruple emails from both parties daily? I recieved an email from both basically thanking me for calling and then....nothing?? So, for a week I sat back and watched one person then later another person join their adventure. They weren't joining in droves, just one here and one there. Well you know the ending to this novel, I joined. Why wouldnt I? All I have ever wanted to do is make an honest comfortable living and help others do the same. I finally found people who are not out to scam the shirt right off your back, but rather loan you theirs until you can make enough to buy a couple of your own.

I do not believe that by this time next week I am going to have a $10,000 check in my mailbox, but maybe someday I will, after I have poured my heart into it and helped enough others do the same. What I do believe, and know to be true, because I am watching it happen daily, is that at a nice steady pace I am watching our group grow bigger, better, and stronger, and we are going to see our pay checks get bigger and better, and we are going to be able to help many, many others find what they have been looking for too; An honest, legitimate way to a very comfortable life, by helping others to achieve the same.

That's my Story and I'm Sticking to It! Why?? Because for Once, Someone is Telling You the Truth!
