I'm learning my way around this site still!! I clicked on the "Send a message" link on the left, thinking it would show up in this discussion, but it did not. Then I clicked on the "My trike" link, and here I am!
Sometimes you just have to hack it.
what I said was, if you have skype, please add me to your contacts.
My skype ID is heyizme.
Then we can chat about trikes and networking, etc. You might want to join the UK triker's forum. I'm their only SA member! Their link is http://www.uktriker.co.uk/. Great bunch of people, good sense of homour. Typically British! Also very forthcoming with help and advice.

Hi Paul, I'm new to MOS also and it's great to hear from a trikerider.
No I did not build it myself, It was built in Texas and was inspected in 2005
before it was aloud on the road. I've done some work to the engine and put
a new grip set on. I put a tack on the handle bar. I also had to put a new shifter
on because the one that was on it was bad and to short.
I have had my trike in a few car and bike shows and I have a few trophies.
I all way's get the looks when I'm out driving. All of the biker will get together and have a poker run
sponsored by a bar and it's so much fun.

Hi, Jeff. I am new to MOS and I'm really surprised to find a fellow triker on this site! It has been my passion for 30 years to build myself a trike. 4 years ago I decided to get started, and I finally built a 1200cc Vmax trike that received rave reviews from motoring journalists and the public. Unfortunately I had to sell it in February because I ran out of money. Anyway, I decided I am going to concentrate on building V8 auto trikes from now on. So now I'm looking for an investor, failing which I will earn money from Global Verge/Buzzirk Mobile to realise my dream of owning and building trikes. I'm not a mechanic or an engineer, but I have the ideas and I know who has the skills I require.
Btw, I live in Pretoria, South Africa. Google "Fusion Trikes" and check out the 5 minute video on youtube of my Vmax trike as it appeared on SATV.
I think your trike looks great. Did you build it yourself?
