- My husband pastors a small church for the homeless. We recently started the Lifted-Up Outreach which is designed to provide jobs for the homeless based on operating not for profit businesses such as thrift stores. I am the director of retail for the thrift store area of the ministry. As our congregation is composed of 90% homeless, we have basically a $0.00 donation level. My husband has to work a full time job to support us. Therefore we are using the internet to attempt to obtain funding to support the outreach.
